Product Information: 100% Virgin Human Hair

Our hair is sourced from high-quality, 100% virgin human hair. Please note that this is not completely raw hair. While our hair can be dyed, we advise caution and recommend seeking professional advice before attempting any color treatments. Dyeing the hair can make the hair very brittle! This can lead to more shedding. Please be aware that any damage incurred during the dyeing process is the responsibility of the user. 
Dying the hair black is possible but with no ammonia!
The liability of SLAYICS will be completely eliminated when dying the hair as this is on your own risk. 
So please be aware that if there are any issues regarding the quality of the hair when you’ve dyed the hair it isn’t our responsibility or liability. 

It’s important to note that our hair cannot be bleached to reach a 613 shade, as it is not completely raw hair because it’s processed. But can be dyed with no ammonia till a 27 shade. We appreciate you and encourage you to explore the various beautiful shades and styles that can be achieved with our premium virgin raw hair.

DIFFERENCE RAW & VIRGIN

  1. Raw Hair

This refers to human hair that has not undergone any form of processing of treatments, whether it be chemical or steam processing. Raw hair is collected directly from an individual donors and all the hair strands are aligned in the same direction and the hair cuticles are in tact and aligned in the same direction which prevents tangling. Generally, raw hair can dye to any colour including bleach blonde (colour 613).

  1. Virgin Hair

Virgin hair refers to human hair that has not been processed or chemically treated in any way. The hair cuticles are in tact and are aligned in the same direction which prevents tangling and shedding. Virgin hair is generally more consistent in terms of length and texture compared to raw hair but has not necessarily been collected from a single donor and because of this the price of virgin hair is considerably less than raw hair. This hair should be able to colour well and you should be able to dye the hair to a colour 27 (which is a medium blonde). Only raw hair is usually gauranteed to be able to dye to a colour 613 (which is a bleach blonde). It is important however for clients to bear in mind that any time you colour hair that the hair does get slightly damaged, so if you prefer light blonde styles we would recommend to rather buy a style that has been professionally pre-dyed rather than spending a significant amount of budget on a very high-quality wig and then risk it being damaged when you try to dye it to a light blondes.  

 

HAIRCARE 
Please remember to hydrate & moisturize your curls daily. When you do a wash and go please sleep with a satin bonnet so you only have to refresh the curls! Every three days deep condition with a conditioner with no alcohol, parabens and sulfates (15 minutes). When you first install the hair deep condition for 45 minutes up to a hour! No products with sulfates or parabens! We don’t advise to straighten the hair because of the reactions with heat. Please treat these curls like your own hair so they can last so much longer. The most important thing is to touch as little as possible! Don't re-style every day! Also sleeping with your hair in a pineapple and in a bonnet! Do not dry comb out, but mainly comb out with conditioner and mostly finger combing! That will last the hair for 4+ installs which could be about 1 year to 2 years. The hair will be less full after several installs but this is also considered normal as curls can shed. Most customers order an extra bundle after some time. Especially the customers that install the hair all the time (use it like their own hair).

Please keep in mind that the curls will become looser after a period of time. This is normal. When styling alot you will stretch the curls out. Also not every curl will look the same, there can be a slight difference between the bundles or laces.

We recommend this conditioner: Bambu Silicon mix to revive the curls after every install. Use a detangle like YARI Lightweight detangler before deep conditioning and styling. Curly hair tangles and sheds more than straight hair, because it has finer curls, so it really requires good care! Most customers buy a bundle after a year to maintain the volume! To use a good deep conditioner like Silicon mix Bambu every 3/4 days when re-styling for combing out and deep conditioning. Please detangle and deep condition after you remove the hair from your head. Because this will prevent matting and knotting while not using the hair.
